Entry level toy hauler, forest river vs heartland?

Hi all.
Me and the wife recently purchased a new can am x3, and want to upgrade the toy hauler to get a little more living space now that were going more often.

I dont want to spend big money on a trailet at this point in my life, but can easily afford the entry level models im looking at (budget of 30k, can push higher as needed).

So far, the floorplan of the heartland lithium 3116 has really caught our eye.

In my circle, forest river products are considered garbage, so ive been attmepting to avoid looking at them. Are heartland any better?

Looking for 14'+ storage space, front bedroom, single slide. Id be open to suhgestions on models and brands!

I dont like my 2013 FR stealth. The installers at the time did horrible work that is to the point of being dangerous. 2nd owner so not much I can do but repair things as I come across them.

I don't think there is much difference in brands.

We picked up a small Gray Wolf Toy Hauler back in October (22RR). We've been in it full time since then with over 4000 miles towing. Just a few very minor items (door adjustment, outside shower door adjustment, reseal bottom of shower enclosure).

honestly i don't think there really too much different these days. the big part of the equation will be finding one with full width cargo of 14' and a min of 4k lbs of ccc. i couldn't find either with out going over 40'. i found dune sport custom builds to spec so i went that route. it won't be done until aug. i have owned 2 wolf pack toyhaulers, 1 genesis supreme and one keystone. the wolf pack's were def superior to the others!

Congrats on the new x3. Ours is about to have a birthday (three years). I couldn't love this thing more.

Get ready to spend a few bucks on accessories (lower doors, roof, light bar, radios, whips, etc.).

I used to own a Heartland fifth wheel. My brother owns a Forest River fifth wheel. He insists he will never buy another Forest River product. I would buy another Heartland RV.

Never mind the brand as they're all built the same way. Instead, look for the floorplan you can't live without and go from there.
