Can someone tell me some links for a fifth wheel hitch that will fit into the ford puck system that is not extremely expensive, right now I have a 16 k hidden hitch I was going to use the adapter but I think the 2 inches is going to make it not work.

I've tried Reese and found that it was a hard hitch to handle. Had a Pullright SG, but went to Long bed and started looking for a non slider. Got to looking at hitches and realized the B&W was cheaper then the Pullright non slider. Ask questions from a friend that has ran both and he said B&W was the best he ever used. Thus purchased the b&W. Fantastic hitch. Worked perfect on the Ford puck system.

My Reese Elite was made in Mexico, which I sometimes consider a step up from made in USA lately ๐Ÿ™‚

Serious though, what problems did you have with your Reese - I would like to watch out for it.

I am also very happy with my Reese Elite after 2+ yrs and many miles. Very positive wrap around locking jaw.

One thing I particularly like is that I can slide quite a bit of lumber (or other long items) under the hitch. Especially useful when I am not towing, but doing some maintenance type work and carrying a lot of 8' lumber.

But it is more expensive than the others.

This is what I use - it is a great hitch.

The head is the same as my prior Reese Elite, with the positive locking jaw.

I am a B&W fan, but a Reese Elite is a very good hitch. The Elite has a very good locking jaw, it's also a very thick.

I use the Reese Elite on mine. I've used Reese for 12 or so years without any problems. They've been around awhile and build a good product.

Both much better than any Reese in my opinion. Look at the jaw design on the Reese vs the other two. They have a locking jaw.

Reese Elite is probably the most expensive one. But B&W and Pullrite both make good hitches to fit the puck system for less.

I used the Reese adapter and put a older BRW 15k rail based hitch on it, and it works great for me.

We have a Pullrite and it works very well:

Dyers-

The same as the one in my tagline. $849. We bought ours from Dyers and they were very helpful, even expedited the shipping since we were planning to leave on a trip soon.

It takes us about 10 minutes to install or uninstall the hitch. It breaks down to two parts: head and base, just by pulling two cotter pins and that makes lifting it out a lot easier.
