Buy this hitch and you will thank me and everyone else that has recommended this simple high quality USA Made hitch. No question if you are hitched, no dropping in the bed if you have eyes and use them!
1" thick solid steel fully enclosing jaws. Seriously compare them to the Curt side by side. - kennethwoosterExplorerI've tried Reese and found that it was a hard hitch to handle. Had a Pullright SG, but went to Long bed and started looking for a non slider. Got to looking at hitches and realized the B&W was cheaper then the Pullright non slider. Ask questions from a friend that has ran both and he said B&W was the best he ever used. Thus purchased the b&W. Fantastic hitch. Worked perfect on the Ford puck system.

Purchased a Reese Elite with my new F350, but had nothing but trouble with it. Finally, bit the bullet and got rid of it and got a B&W: great hitch; wish I had purchased it sooner. Would have saved a lot of headaches. Also, it's American made.
My Reese Elite was made in Mexico, which I sometimes consider a step up from made in USA lately :)
Serious though, what problems did you have with your Reese - I would like to watch out for it. - BB_TXNomadI am also very happy with my Reese Elite after 2+ yrs and many miles. Very positive wrap around locking jaw.
One thing I particularly like is that I can slide quite a bit of lumber (or other long items) under the hitch. Especially useful when I am not towing, but doing some maintenance type work and carrying a lot of 8' lumber.
But it is more expensive than the others. - JackDN0610ExplorerPurchased a Reese Elite with my new F350, but had nothing but trouble with it. - Mile_HighExplorerThis is what I use - it is a great hitch.

The head is the same as my prior Reese Elite, with the positive locking jaw. - rodsnreelsExplorerI also use the Reese Elite. No complaints.
- glazierExplorer III am a B&W fan, but a Reese Elite is a very good hitch. The Elite has a very good locking jaw, it's also a very thick.
- drillkingExplorerI use the Reese Elite on mine. I've used Reese for 12 or so years without any problems. They've been around awhile and build a good product.
- agesilausExplorer IIIBoth much better than any Reese in my opinion. Look at the jaw design on the Reese vs the other two. They have a locking jaw.
