fifth wheel repairs

Hopefully this reaches somebody who has some good and badly needed info on my problem. I live in Snohomish county, Washington, Oak Harbor to be exact. I own and currently live in a mobile suites fifth wheel. I am on private property but did not retain the truck for which my former husband ands myself hauled it with. He got custody of the truck so my problem is this: I need some serious maintenance work done on my rig as it is my place of residence but I am at a loss as to which repair service to use, baring in mend that I may or may not have a way to move it to a repair site. Needs lots of small things but one major thing being some carpet dampness and consequently flooring issues I am sure. Two outfits that I know of and am considering are JR's rv repair in Sedro Woolley, Washington and Chuck's mobile rv service in Lake Stevens, Washington. My question is does anybody out there in this great big world know anything about either of these locations or have any suggestions for any thing within 50 miles of Oak Harbor. wa. Money is most definitely an issue. Thank you for any assistance that you can provide. I know that women can be a target of some pretty nasty business practice's. Please help.
  • I can tell you from personal experience and from others I know JR's is a top quality RV repair parts and service business.

John and Dixie are the owners, nice people.

FYI Whidby Island is in Island County not Snohomish.
  • In cases like this I usually look on Yelp or Google for reviews. Unfortunately, there's only one mobile rv repair place listed in Oak Harbor, and it has no reviews on Yelp or Google. But it does have an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. It's called Harris'. Might be worth a look for you.

    Harris' RV Mobile Repair
    1906 Olympia Way
    Oak Harbor, WA 98277
    Phone number (360) 675-8215

    Harris' BBB rating.

Yelp listings, including others that are further away from you.
  • Call the nearest rv park and ask them for a referral to a mobile RV tech.
