- djtytrev630ExplorerI have the Trail -Air ride with a B&W companion and it rides real smooth... but I have nothing to compare it to, we had a 32ft tongue pull as our last trl.

I have a Trail-Aire with the added Tri-Glide jaw. It's expensive and heavy, but it does a good job. Looks to me like the Flex=Air will work in a similar fashion. If I was to do it again I wouldn't get the Tri-Glide jaw part. It works but isn't that effective and it does require the use of a grease gun every 1,000 miles on its' 9 Zerk fittings.

I agree. The Tri-glide also clunks back and forth a lot when starting and stopping, even with lots of grease. I'm tempted to weld it solid. The air bag part of the hitch is nice though. - B_O__PlentyExplorer III have a Trail-Aire with the added Tri-Glide jaw. It's expensive and heavy, but it does a good job. B.O. - Winged_OneExplorerAs of an email from Lippert I received on 4/1 the Flex Air was still not available. They did not provide an availability date.
- dsraceExplorerI know it's not what you looking for but it is air ride and what I bought. I went this route cause if I trade in the toyhauler for another it stays with the truck and the air ride pin box's don't interchange with all frames. what a diff the air ride made in towing. the chucking is gone and smooooth!

I think this one would be better

or even this one

- azdryheatExplorerWe have the TrailAir/Tri-Glide on our Voltage and love it. But then anything would be a huge improvement over the standard pin box. We used our 3500 to tow our previous 5th-wheel with a standard pin box and it rode like a bucking bronco at times. Same truck but with our new toy hauler with the Trailair and the bucking bronco is almost non-existent. What a much smoother ride we now have.
- drty1773ExplorerGreat, I am really looking hard at the pin box, but having a little trouble finding the flex air ride pin box. perhaps Lippert hasn't released it to the aftermarket yet.
Dan - brireneExplorerI use both a Trail Air and a B&W Companion and am very happy with the towing performance.
