- rockintomExplorerI suggest you check with the manufacturer. Checking fluid level procedure on mine is LR slides retracted, all jacks retracted and bedroom slide extended. One inch from top of reservoir. Lippert system
- silverthunderroExplorerOk thanks for all the info...
- Cummins12V98Explorer IIIretract everything then suck out as much fluid as you can. Fill to proper level with proper fluid. I changed mine at 4 years.
- craig7hNomad III have a Lippert system, I was reading their information about my slide creeping out. Within the pages it said to change out the fluid, from the reservoir and fill to 1" from top. All with slides in.
- silverthunderroExplorerOk thanks that helps me a lot..Thought I had to change it every once in a while.
- Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIWhen it has leaked out.
The fluid is not under extreme pressure or heat so it will last many, many years.
All slideouts 'retracted' (closed)---level should be 1" from top of reservoir.
Just top off as needed (if needed) with the same type of fluid as recommended by your slideout mfg. Typically a tranny fluid....ATF +4
