We went from an Outback Sydney edition to a 2016 GD Reflection 3030rls. It has been such a pleasant change. We love the 303rls it has fit us perfectly and normally we only heat with the fireplace and if it is below 35* we use a small electric heater, 20's we kick on the furnace. With cooling when 90's we start with both air units to cool down then go to one in the living area. It is ducted to the bedroom so it is whisper quiet in the bedroom for sleeping. We've had it 3 years and made several trips to Florida in the winter and stayed up to 6 weeks. Remind us of staying in an apartment. We could not be happier. Even better we could sell it today for more than we paid for it.

I think it is a smart move to buy used at this point in time. I'm betting the Nash is setting a pretty high bar for you.

I have a 2018 303RLS and wasn't familiar with the Wildcat's floor plan, so I looked at them online. I have to agree with the other posters - it's about what floor plan suits you. My personal reason for selecting the 303 was that it has lots of window area - on the curb side - including a huge back window, and that the TV is directly across from the recliners. I see that the Wildcat puts the TV in front of the back window - maybe it descends into the cabinet below? But the recliners are at a right angle to it.

As far as cold weather camping - who knows? Not sure about the Nash, but when RV's are advertised for "Artic" conditions, I have to laugh. They are not insulating with closed cell spray foam - and the walls are thin. So it is a tossup.

Quality? Who knows, but any quality issues on used units this old should have been exposed and corrected - although I agree that the GD was built when that company was newer and you may be surprised. And as seasoned RV'ers, you likely already know how to determine condition - check for leaks, check the roof and tires, etc.

I'm curious as to the condition of the recliners in the GD 303rls - has the fake leather started flaking off?

So in the end, go with the floor plan you like best and then pick it apart with a fine tooth comb. Good luck.

I know you say you are looking at those two units but really give thought to the floor plans. I can assure you that floor plan is by far the most important for happy camping in the future.
As far as quality, it does not matter what you purchase you can expect little items that will crop up.

GD for me. I think back when they started they were making quality units. Today from my reading on their forums they've slipped on quality some. The 303 is a generic floorplan but a well thought out one.

It's all about the floor plan. The 303 has most campsite side view from inside. The Wildcat has most of it's windows on the road side. I have a friend that has a Wildcat with no campsite view from the inside.
Our 303 has worked for us. It's all about the floorplan, you want.

I would be more concerned about any used trailer regardless of brands or floorplans.
Your familiar with rv appliances so you know how they should work.
Also running gear and frames need to be looked at. First trip on the road isn't a places you want to have issues with them.

FR or GD...I would choose the floor plan I liked and if it fit my budget...or my tow vehicle weight specs. A 5th wheel trailer that size can have well in excess of 3000 lb hitch weights... plus the hitch...plus other stuff the truck will be carrying.
