We have the Cedar Creek 38FL and love it! Stairs not an issue, view is nice but we are usually outside anyways and with the outside fridge don't need to even go in/out the stairs of the rig. Grab a cold one and a chair and all the view I want.
Having said that agree in most cases we find the FL is a love it/hate it and no real middle ground.
