Fuel cost to drive to Florida.
I'm looking for some feedback on what your fuel costs were to drive from southern Ontario (or even the Buffalo area) to the Tampa area of Florida. Yes, I realize there are plenty of variables here...

I usually plan on about $500-600 for the one way trip (Barrie area to Orlando area). MH gets about 7-9 or 8-10 mpg (US or Canadian gallon). So many variables but the price of gasoline south of the border, more than makes up for the difference in the dollar. An example is home to Toledo, fillup was about $100 US, $130can at todays exchange) on the return, fillup in Toledo and then fill up at home the cost was $220 Canadian.
I'm glad the MH has the speedo/odometer in MILES, so no extra calculations, I still think in miles, no kilometres.
