Furnace and AC stopped working?

Can anybody help me figure out what happend to my 2006 TERRY QUANTUM AX6 dual air cond/heating system, it suddently stopped working. The air conditioner nor the furnace is kicking in. I do know that it was stormy outside and the power did go out...however once power kicked back in, all other appliances worked but these? Thanks.:?
  • Open the door to the furnace and there will be a reset switch and that has both the furnace and HVAC fan wired to it. Check the conections in the area. If a spade clip is dirty or loose, neither will work

    Hi,

So what would I do in the case it is actually the "Wall thermostat prob?"

They are inexpensive (~$50). Unless it's something simple like a wire somehow become disconnect and just needs to be reattached, its probably less expensive to replace it versus trying to diagnois and repair it.

    how long was it out?

many A/c's have a "wait" feature (no idea what it is actually called)
to protect the system.... it won't turn on immediately.

Actually yes, did check breaker and fuses. Everything was fine, the unit has'nt worked since. I will be taking out to an RV lot to hook it up and give it some wait time, as you said it won't turn on immediatley. If this isnt the case, do you think I need a replacement?
