Gap between Dual Awnings

The gap is just to the left of the entry door where we usually like to have a folding table set up. Now anything under it will get wet from just a light rain. Would have preferred just a single 20 foot awning but was told it wasn't available on this model.
I am just guessing here... Is one the MAIN awning.. and the other on the slide out ? If so ( which I believe to be the case is) , there is no way to do so from the factory..
Think about it.. IF that is the case, how would they mount to the wall together,unless they wee mounted ABOVE the slide out.. That would make the slide head room VERY LOW headroom in side
IF you want o create a fix, you will have to toss a tarp over from the roof..
*** ON EDIT . . I just saw one online.... Look at how high the awning needs to be to be above the entry door... And how low the roof line drops to the rear of the door.... IT looks like they could possibly drop the main awning down, and carry it a bit farther back..BUT you would be blocking the window in the front . . .. ???????
