Generac 3.6kV Issues
New member, new to RVing. Recently purchased 06' Keystone 28' TH. Before the purchase, the generator with only 50hr on it was not running due to bad gas (lack of use). After replacing the carb. and starter, everything was fine except the transfoer switch which had to ordered. I needed the unit over labor day, so they disconnected the transfer switch and let me take the unit. Everything worked fine off the generator at the dealership. Once home and packing up, the generator died after about 1 hour of use running the AC. It would start back up, but would immediatley over speed and shut down. I returned the unit the same day.
They sent the unit out for repair to two different shops. Now the unit runs fine, but will not run the AC. It even struggles with only the microwave.
I did manage to get it to hold load on the AC yesterday morning long enough to check the voltage, it was running 93VAC (AC only). Shutting down the AC and running no load, it shot up to 138VAC. The dealer says he can do no more for me!
Ideas, comments, suggestion? Sorry for the long post
