- Golden_HVACExplorerYou will have two generators rated at 1,600 watts, and also have a 2,000 watt 15 minute rating. So with 3,200 watts, that will be enough to start the air conditioner as long as the microwave is not running at the same time. Once the A/C us running, it will be using about 1,300 watts on a 'warm' day or up to about 1,600 watts on a 100F day, and you can also use the microwave that might have a 1,300 - 1,500 watt 'input' rating.
Your battery charger will be on all of the time, and will use between 400 watts when it first starts if the battery is low and 100 watts if the battery charger is close to full.
Any other small loads, such as LED TV set will be less than 1 amp at 120 volts, or perhaps an additional 100 - 150 watts.
Mayberrys.com has great prices on the generators and free shipping. They know what cords a RV will require too.
Many have the pair of 47 pound generators and enjoy them!
Fred. - tinner12002ExplorerThey should be ok but you might be limited to maybe not being able to run the microwave at the same time...lights and everything else should be ok. I have several friends with that setup on big fifth wheels and they've not had any issues.
