I agree that if you want a unit of suffiicient quality to hold up to full time living, look at used Mobile Suites, HitchHiker, Excel, Carriage.
If you buy used you won't have to worry about voiding a warranty by living in the unit, but many of the units that will hold up best are those that are warranteed for fulltime living, It just makes sense.
Our first 5th wheel was not for fulltiming, and it literally fell apart.
Lifestyle, as mentioned, is another good one, but they are a new company so you won't find many affordable used ones.
I am not sure why you are set on a rear kitchen. They can take a beating going down the road, with all that weight aft of the axles.
Our preference is to be able to open the refrig and get to the bathroom with the slides in, but on the flip side, its not usually much trouble to open a slide if needed.
