I need to replace my bad 235/80r16 "Blowmax" tires. Had one blow out doing $4500 damage to the camper. My rims are not rated for the 110 PSI of the Sailun so been looking and it seems many of you like the new Endurance ST tires. Can we get a few reviews and mileages plus trailer weights you've tested them with. My 330RBK has a GVWR of 12,265 lbs.Mike

I don't think they have been out long enough for good reviews. Have you thought about Michelin XPS rib? I have the same rims and weight as you and will be going with them soon.

If I were you, I would go to an LT truck tire! The 235/80-16 should have a rating of 3,042# ea. For a total of 12,168#. Keep in mind from your 12,265# GVWR subtract you pin which should be about 2,400# leaving less than 10,000# on the axles.There are several commercial LT also, personally with a 12,360# GVWR I have Yokohama YK-HTX on my 5er.

LT is fine but I would trust Endurance to be a good tire.At least you know it will be fresh off the press and made in USA.

I realize this isnt an answer to your quesion and apologize if I derail your thread.

I switched all my trailers over the westlake tires, the guys that work for me run their own trucks and we have all noticed that we get better mileage and they really take those tight dragging turns well. We over load our equipment trailers and exceed the tire ratings every day - a year of abuse and they are really holding up well.

I just put on a set of Endurance tires this week. My Good Year guy sold me on how they cover damage caused by blow outs. It was only the second set he had sold...

You may not have to run them at 110 psi, I run mine at 95 psi, but I don't know that I'd recommend running them at 80 psi either. That just seems really low to me.
