Goodyear G614 tire longevity experience?

That the same age my Michelins are, and they will go next spring.

Michelin says to start inspecting the tires when they are 5 years old and to replace them no later than 10 years old. Keep in mind this is for car and truck tires. I use their XPS Ribs on my trailer, which is a commercial grade truck tire that's also rated for trailer use.

If the tires are made in China I'd replace them immediately with an LT truck tire.

Personally I would figure 5 years from when I installed them, and also by tread depth and wear. Of course if they're weather checked badly I would replace them sooner.

I had mine last for 5 years and I just replaced them to make sure I do not have any issues this summer. I purchased 6 more due to having no issues and we have a total of 15,000 lbs on the 3 axles. I tow my fiver at speeds of 65 mph. Love the tires. Piece of mind is worth the cost. Made in the USA.

I changed out the ones that came on my 07.5 MS that were dated mid 07 and replaced in 12. that had a lot of miles and the spare never hit the ground. I would have used them for 7-8 years but I needed to up size to "H" because of the wife adding so much weight to the RV.

I believe the general rule is to replace 5-7 years no matter what the wear. Is cheaper to replace the tires and be safe (hopefully) or to have a blow out risking damage to the RV or personal injury, not to mention inconvience of being stuck on the road. I am currently on a cross country trip with my 2012 Cameo and will be replacing all tires when I return Oct 2016. Expensive yes.

We buy every 5 years. Never ever had any tire issues.

MINE were dated 05,07 fiver ran them till 12, no issues.
