I have about 25,000 miles on my Sailons and I hope to get 40,000 miles plus before I have to change them. These tires hold air over winter better than any tire I have ever owned. The spare has never been on. They look like new and I have not seen even any hairline cracks around the bead-I wish I could say that about the Michelins that are on my new truck with only 13,000 miles on them. I think Good year is a good company but I also feel they have a problem with this particular tire. I also feel they are way over charging for this tire. Maybe they have decided it is cheaper to repair some rigs rather than face a class action suit like Firestone had years ago on their 500's. I don't want my rig sitting in a repair shop if I can avoid it. I am pro American-my son serves as a Navy Chief as I sit here and type this. I don't question that anyone here is pro American-in fact I don't think it should be a part of this conversation. as I stated above if you like Goodyear then run them.
