A 3'+ pole has a lot on leverage and should you apply some force it would fail.
For Starlink use the Flag Pole Buddy (I made my own) which you can put up and down while standing on the ground. Use a 8' metal pole that you can store somewhere and mount the base say 5' above the ground which will give you 13' of height. Secure the base of the pole with a pin so that it can't turn. Collapasible metal poles are available.
