grease for 5th. wheel hitch???

Many forget this grease point on bottom of head. I also place a thin layer of regular grease on the jaws.

1/8" slip plate works well with the Companion hitches. Don't forget to grease the bottom grease zerk!

I also have the B&W Companion
No issues since we bought the rig in '08.

I use white lithium grease to lube the internals of the hitch

I have a BW 20K Companion and the manual instructs me to us lithium grease on the rubber bushings the head sits on. I would recommend referring back to your hitch manual.

Another fan of the lube plate for the hitch and axle grease for the pin. I keep an extra lube plate in storage as mine have a funny way of falling off when I'm not paying attention.
