Happijac bed lift - motor replacement

Greetings, we recently experienced failure of the electric bed lift in our 2008 Forest River Sandstorm toy hauler. The dual bunks will neither lift nor descend under electric power. There is a high pitched noise from the electric motor when we activate the switch, which leads me to believe motor failure is the culprit. I was able to manually adjust the beds during our trip; using the manual brake switch. I took some photos and e-mailed them to Happijac via the website last week, but have received no reply. I am looking for anyone who has experienced similar failure and repair options. Thanks much.
