Has Best RV improved?

There was a lot of previous discussion on this forum about shady pre and post sales antics from these guys. I believe at one time they had a very low BBB rating. I recently checked BBB and it appears they are now scoring an A-. Not sure if this means much. http://www.bbb.org/northeast-california/business-reviews/recreational-vehicles-dealers/best-rv-cente...

The reason I ask is I might be in the market for an Attitude 28AK in near future and Best RV just opened a new location down the road from me in Rancho Cordova (East of Sacramento). Being this close would be a big + for me. I have not yet stopped in to get feel for these guys but am curious to hear if anyone has any experience with them in the last 6-12mo and whether they have improved

They haven't. Still a bunch of liars. You buy from them for the price, not the after sale service. As long as you go in knowing that and plan to take your rig somewhere else when/if problems arise you will be fine. There must be more than a few unhappy people. Their ads on craigslist are constantly flagged and deleted. People just don't like them and there is good reason for it.

WOW!! i just bought my Fuzion at Best RV 2 weeks ago. The price was 20K cheeper than any other dealer. I will deal with warranty issues when and if they come up.. No matter how you look at it 20K is 20K.. I had a good experience with the sales dept. and the small amount of service dept. They installed a satellite and my 5th wheel hitch. I have nothing bad to say. As of now I would defiantly buy from them again..

I see that the DMV raided Best in 2011. but one "charge" was adding on a $750 fee that wasn't required by the govt. Although a little steep AFAIK all dealers, car or RV, probably add on a $100 or more "processing" fee to pad the bill.

Evergreen RV came to my rescue on Aug. 27, 2013. I had a scheduled service appointment for repairs at Best RV in Turlock...a reluctantly granted appointment by the way. Any sane individual would never, ever want to have anything to do with Best RV as I discovered on the 27th. I arrived with my trailer at the appointed time. The service mananger / co-owner blatantly and rudely refused to provide warranty service on my 7 month old Bay Hill 5th wheel. After lengthy arguing I left Best RV with a bedroom slideout that would not function and other minor issues that could have been easily resolved. Evergreen had apparently severed business dealings with Best RV and for that reason, according to the service manager, warranty service was no longer being offered even though it was part of the original purchase agreement. Evergreen directed me to an RV business that would honor the one-year original Evergreen warranty. I should have practiced due diligence in researching the business reputation of Best RV in Turlock. Their egregious record with the Better Business Bureau, Yelp, Yahoo, and Kudzu should have provided sufficient red flags to steer clear of this dishonest RV business.

Haven't heard of any problem with Attitude warranty service. But I have experienced (and so have my friends) several other dealers in the general area refusing to warranty service the RV that was purchased at BESTRV.

I guess It's their way to get back at BEST and you for undercutting them. I think they know there will be no repeat business at BEST after going through BESTRV service center.

When MVP was in business, BESTRV was $3K lower for the same exact unit than the Bakersfield Dealer (who claimed he was losing $500 on the deal, and would only do warranty work on units that he sold). If you are willing to drive down south to factory for warranty service, I would take the lowest price at BESTRV.

Their was a court case a while back where Best RV had taken a bunch of RV's in on consignment.
They were renting these out to people without the owner's consent and got busted.

Look up the owner Naiel Ammari, all kinds of dirt on that POS

I just went to their website. Looks like extremely low prices...SO...if you are mechanical (almost have to be to own an RV), then probably not a bad way to go. Just my opinion. I know my new Cyclone will never go back to a dealer nor factory:))

Their prices are low to sucker you in.
Then you notice things like, no electric jack, or things that don't match up in the ad.
Then the scumbag owner of BestRV will berate you and scream loudly in the middle of the his store and call you an idiot and how dare you say such things, "We don't write the ads" etc.
It's quite the comedy act.
Then they will call you a few days later saying they added the missing items, you state "F##k you!" then they send you a bill for labor along with some legal stuff.
It's a trap, those people ARE CRIMINALS!!
I was lucky, I got out of their in one piece and didn't pay them a dime. One of these days, someone isn't going to put up with being f##ked with...
