Ok guys...check my math. This is what I have:
2013 RAM 3500 DRW 3:73 rear end, 6-SPD AUTO 68RFE - DG7 tranny, 4x4
Base weight of truck is 7808#
GVWR is 14,000#, giving payload cap of 6190# (ie pin weight plus all my stuff)
The GCWR is 27,000# so by my math, I can tow about a 19,000# 5'er (with an empty truck)
That being said, without getting into a towing disagreement, I think I can tow most if not all toy haulers out there today. Which is why I bought this truck. Am totally out to lunch here?
