We have been looking at 5er's and the wife just keeps looking. Cant seem to find the right one in our price range. Question is how well are the KZ 5er's made? How would the stack up against the keystone products? TIA

We had a 2002 KZ Sportsmen for 9 years. It never needed to go back to the dealer for service of any kind. Not a single issue with it (no slides).

From there we bought a 2011 Keystone Outback. It was a pretty TT but it had issues I attributed to poor assembly processes. A slide would not open sometimes (returned multiple times for this), a screw was driven through a lamp power wire, rear roof corner caps improperly installed, interior trim pieces popping loose, debris under linoleum flooring. Each time I had to leave it with Holiday World for weeks to get it repaired.

That one was stolen and we went back to KZ (see sig). I have had a slide seal leak and slides adjusted on this one. All of it was taken care of while I waited for 1.5 hours. I have found their service to be excellent.

Yea, it bums me out that Thor recently bought out KZ. Time will tell.

I have a 2013 3732 Inferno and love it. I will say they were bought by Thor earlier this year so not sure how that is going to go. I just dropped mine off at dealer Saturday for some odds and end warranty work....

I have a keystone, and several friends that have KZ products. I looked hard at the Inferno before we bought the fusion. I liked the interior of the Keystone product better, and found one in the right price with the layout we liked. If the inferno had provided that first, we'd have likely have gotten a KZ. From my friends experience, KZ has wonderful customer service, a 2 year warranty, and their products don't seem any worse or better than anything else. They have minor issues, I've had minor issues with both of my keystones. I think they are a solid product, though not top of the line (like Grand Designs etc).

I think KZ is one of the best on the market with great Mfg support if you do have any problems.
