The wife and I just ordered a 2016 XLR Thunderbolt 417 yesterday. We have been looking for a pretty good while to upgrade from what we currently have which is a 2007 W&P 38 FK. After taking a 6 week road trip last year in the FK, I decided I'm to fat and old to climb a ladder to get into bed and move around on my hands and knees. It's a good trailer for short trips but a killer for longer ones.

I'm looking forwards to walk up 3 steps, walk to the bed to go to sleep! The biggest plus will be not having to worry about falling or tripping going down the ladder at night when nature calls and waking up the whole campground.

The 417 is going to be perfect for us. I can't wait to load up one of the toys and hit the road.

Congrats!!! We LOVE our 395AMP. The 417 is a great floor plan too. XLR also has the best after sale support imaginable. The wait must be tough...

We were told the new trailer should be delivered in early October. As far as the FK, we are going to sell it. It will make a good trailer for a weekend racer.
