- Me_AgainExplorer IIIForget it and get J&T Strong Arms. Chris
- TimayExplorer+1 on what Chris said ^^^...
Tim - JW_of_Opechee_SExplorerJT's all the way
- mdamerellExplorerI use both JT Strongarms and a jack but 's a personal choice.
When looking at tripods I wanted one with a 5,000# rating. That way if need be, it could support the camper if I had a problem with my landing gear but that's just me.
The JT Strongarms helped a lot but "momma ain't happy" unless she see's the tripod there, so I put the tripod there and my life is good. - mowinExplorerI'm using a king pin jack and like it. Definitely helps. Think mine was $100.00 from amazon.
- BB_TXNomadAs most above, I would skip it and install stabilizers. Used my tripod one year, installed JTs, and sold the tripod. No comparison.
If you do get one, get the heaviest duty one you can find. - jjjExplorerI installed my JT'S and have never used my king pin stabilizer again. It sits in the shed collecting dust. I also have a fifth airbourn pinbox so it is one more reason not to use it.
- HalmfamilyExplorerWe use Steady Fast stabilizers on ours. Put the front gear down, rear stabilizers down and tighten three knobs. Pretty darn solid. Only time I feel movement is when the washing machine starts its final spin cycle and that's only momentary. One time insatll.
