leveling systems for fifth wheelers
do most 5th wheels have automated leveling systems, or do you have to level yourself? I have no experience with 5th wheels, have always had a motothome. thanks Tom

Before the naysayers start on "the factory says you can't do that" last weekend we went camping and the site was nowhere near level side-to-side. I put blocks under the low side jacks and turned it loose. It leveled just fine with the 2 right wheels 3" off the ground and stayed that way all weekend.
Hey this brings up a question I had on the auto levelers, I currently dont have them but would like too in the next fiver. What I do now is I would put the chocks between my wheels then unhitch. What do you guys do with the auto levelers if its bringing the wheels off the ground? Are you not afraid then when the levelers come back down that you might slide either frontwards or backwards? I guess Iam trying to figure out how to use them before I get them.
