Light weight patio hauler

Is there such a thing as a light weight patio hauler (not looking for the traditional toy hauler). I was looking at a GD momentum 350 but I am thinking its to heavy for my truck (2014 F350 swd). Looking for a place to store mostly bikes (no real toys yet). The wife really likes the idea of having a patio to sit on.
10ft or less garage
Less than 36 ft Total length
Fifth wheel
12kfully loaded weight.

Any suggestions.

I'm pretty sure you can modify almost any of the TOY HAULER drop down door into a patio sitting design without too much effort... My first impression of using the drop down door as a patio sure is going to add alot of length to your already long trailer setup. This will make one have to look for especially long parking areas at the camp grounds. This is probably too long with the door dropped to even consider any overhang at most campgrounds. I have backed in with my trailer rear wheels touching the end of the parking space barrier and got away with a two or three foot overhang at alot of camp sites.

Even at pull through sites sitting on the dropped rear door patio would not be where I would want to sit. Almost like sitting on the edge of the road haha...

Camping out West in the wide open spaces it would be nice perhaps...

    Something to consider...

You didn't list your truck but towing a fifth wheel is going to preclude any of the F150s in my opinion... At least you will not be happy towing one with a F150...

Can't say I have heard a reference to a Patio Hauler, and how it's different (or not being) a "toy hauler"

The only time I recall seeing the term Patio Hauler, is many years ago there was a brand of Toy Hauler named a "Patio Hauler"
  • If your F350 is diesel there will be no issue if it is gas, it will pull it but slow going on mountains and get gas card ready, I have same trailer and used a 2013 f 250 diesel with heavy springs on truck etc. and I have no issues at all Brett
