We looked at the 27 but it just didn't have quite enough living and storage space so we ended up with a 2012 Arctic Fox 29 5T, which has just enough space and doesn't weigh much more than the 27. The 2013 is heavier and has larger tanks. The Fox Mountain is nice, but the AF is made on a much stronger platform.
While we went from the 24-5N to a 29-5E, today we would probably go with the 27-5L (which has a slightly different floor plan in earlier models, while now is more like the 29-5E)
