Lippert pin cover hits

2010 Heartland 5th wheel. The plastic pin cover strikes the truck bed rails on a tight back in. I am 6 inches above the top of the rails as advised. After some damage to the pin cover I trimmed off some but looks like it will still hit. I like the looks of the cover but might have to remove it. Anyone else have this problem. Thanks T

    Same here, I just trimmed off enough ,so it doesn't hit. It took a couple of trim jobs to get enough off to keep it from hitting. I too like the looks of it, and it still looks okay trimmed.
