If you look at these empirical results, heโ€™s 24.5 percent on the pin. So Landmark is known to be a heavy hauler.

For my situation with a Cedar Creek 34ik. Iโ€™m starting out from dry at 18% on the pin with a 16200 GVWR and a dry weight of 12500.

I will stay at 14500lbs loaded and with this B&W companion slider, my aux fuel tank, Iโ€™m going to be right at 3700 lbs payload. So empirical results, at 75% loaded, my 2018 Ram Bighorn 3500 Crew Cab SB SRW HO loaded right now without the aux tank and the load directly over the axle the truck is 42.5in unloaded at the center of the rear wheel and 40 3/8 in loaded. 40 inches is level. I have 8 inches of clearence.

So I may need air bags.

I think this llandmark trailer will need a Duelie. Now you could go with Airlift 5000 ultimate airbags and 19.5 inch Ricksons. You probably would exceed every sticker on the truck and the strick weight constitutionalists would raise the alarm and Iโ€™m not recommending this but you could talk to folks who have and get their advice.

The weight would be satisfied but you may need to upgrade the brakes also.

So like many have said, it would just be easier to get a duelie.

Good Luck!

That leaves you 670# before you put an ounce in the truck or trailer.

Expect to lose around 200# for the hitch.
Probably another 3-500# added when you load the trailer.
You and the Misses....

Looks like you need more truck if you want to be within the payload limits.

What do you really think?
3,800-3,130=670# that is for passenger and all the stuff you carry in the vehicle, I am assuming that your payload includes a full fuel tank.

The dry pin is 23% of GVWR, that will remain or increase based on what you place in the basement. So at max GVWR pin would be 3,737#.
Your payload is only 2,792# so assuming you travel light so half is 1,400# at 23% is 321# of additional pin weight, so now at 349# for hitch and passengers.
Do yourself a big favor, and just buy a DRW!

3200-3500 lbs. looks like a good range. Figure the high end and then you'll be golden if it comes out on the low side.
