Not with all else being equal. This is about long vs. short. Not extended cab vs standard cab etc. I have a SB EC. It is about the same length as a LB SC. But certainly not a LB EC. The latter will not fit in my driveway let alone my garage. Simply put there are advantages and disadvantages to both short or long. Depends on ones needs and wants. One isn't better than the other.
