Mountaineer 345DBQ vs. Open range 399BHS

We are looking at a new to us 5th wheel.

A 2010 Open Range 399BHQ or a 2010 Keystone Mountaineer 345DBQ.

Looking for members who have owned then to give pros and cons of the models.

Both models are within 2 to 3k of each other.

Maybe the back one, but I don't think the slide will block the stairway. It doesn't on our Mountaineer. And your right, that is a deal breaker.

It looks close from the floor plan. However If you own a similar rig,
you certainly know better than my observation. thanks for the insight

  • I have a 2012 399BHS so I am biased.
399 has more lp capacity, more fresh capacity,
399 has a desk/entertainment area in the bunk room
399 has a much larger living room TV.
I do not like the bathroom sink being in the bedroom.

  • I own a 392BHS Open Range Roamer which is like the 399bhs but the kitchen is like the 345. PM me for more details on the Open Range.
