Mine came from the factory mounted to the floor of the curb-side front wardrobe. Simple steel box with a hasp for a combo or key lock. I usually leave it unlocked, with the lock inside and have only used it maybe 2 times...but it's there. I'll usually have DW toss a few things on top of it, just for a bit of cover. Gun never leaves my side or me, unless I'm in the shower. YMMV...
