I have owned a few rv's over the years and I was always disappointed with the quality of materials and how weak the structures really are. So I purchased a 2014 Featherlite enclosed car trailer. These are all aluminum very sturdy trailers. I have 8'ceiling height rear ramp door 36" entry door, 7k axles. The trailer has 26' box space and 5' of v-nose. Things accomplished so far.
1. Added 4 tinted slider windows
2. 24" entry door added to v-nose
3. put up wall framing for v-nose (mechanical room)
4. Framed up bathroom with pocket door.
5. Mounting standard kitchen cabinets
6. installed 45 gallon fresh water tank
7. two maxx deluxe fans
8. working on drop down queen bed
9. Polyfoam foil faced board insulation on ceiling and walls.
10 added aluminum channel structure around windows
11. added grey&black tanks
12. Installed 120v mini split ac/heat pump system
13.building solar frame on roof to hold 6-renogy 24v 320w panels.
14. 4000w 24v Aimsinverter charger
15. Victron solar charge controller 150/60a
16. Two BYD Lifepo4 Lithium 24v 340ah battery modules.
17 30 amp shore hookup
18. eco temp tankless propane water heater
19. 40# propane tank.
20 Made 3" lift for ground clearance
21. Vinyl plank flooring for front living area
22. Grey vinyl rolled flooring for garage area.
23. Walls will be stained ship lap siding.
24. 7cu/ft Fridge/freezer

Im trying to get some pictures organized. I have a tendency to plan then buy things when I see a good value. Problem is now I'm having to squeeze around all the things I have bought. LOL

Way to go man!! I would have gone nuts with the fresh water tank size given it's a toyhauler. But that's cool when people conserve so props if that's the intent.

With all the solar I would think you would want more fresh water.
Much rather have 2x 20# propane (or 2x30#) with automatic regulator over the single 40# cylinder.

Looks like a good project. Post some pics when available.

Would two 20 pound propane tanks be easier to fill? Then when one empties you switch and refill...
