Need a little help

Yes I did check the floor ducts by removing the registers and used a mirror to look for restrictions and found none. I'm really impressed with the way our unit is constructed as it is easy to use and work on too. Once again thanks to everyone for the help! This is a great forum!

So you are sure that you had not blocked registers. If we put a carpet over the closest one to the furnace, it restricts air flow to the point the sail switch does not tell it that it is ok to start. Just saying!!!!

Today I dropped the furnace off at the dealers shop and left it with them for a few hours to have it checked out. When I returned they had checked the entire unit out and did not find anything wrong. They ran the unit through it's cycle while I was there and it performed great. I brought it back and reinstalled it in our unit and replaced the crimped wire connections with wire nuts and we now have a working furnace. So I don't know if their checking and unplugging and reconnecting connectors or my eliminating the crimp connectors repaired the issue or not but we now have heat and are happy campers! In any case the more I mess with our rolling home the more I am learning about it which will help while we are on the road. Thanks to all for your help! This sure is more fun than bricks and sticks :-)

I would get a new dealer, this one should take care of you because you bought it from him, get an independent repair done and give the bill to your dealer.

That was a little sarcastic...but maybe you could get help if you ask but please dont fault the dealer if they can't or won't....and get yourself a truck...enjoy the open road

Really, that works? I bought a boat at the January boat show and called the dealer up in April and asked them to take it to the lake for me since they sold it to me and I did not have a truck to pull it. Sorry,....if you plan to buy a toweable...shouldn't you have the means to be self-sufficient for transportation? It has wheels for that reason..

Today I removed the furnace from the 5th wheel and will take to the dealer tomorrow. The dealer said it will take about an hour to check it out. I was very surprised at how easy it was to remove from under the kitchen stove.
I will post the results tomorrow after the dealer does the diagnostics.

Please let us know the status once in a while.
We see a lot of problems and like to see the solutions too.

Have you tried resetting the thermostat? Remove cover, locate fuse on circuit board, remove fuse for 15-20 seconds, re-install fuse, let system reboot itself.
Sometimes bad flourescent fixtures interfere with some styles of thermostats that operate AC units and furnaces.
Another item in some is a relay. Normally located in the interior shroud of AC unit.

Update on info:
The furnace is a Suburban and the thermostat that operates the AC, fan & furnace is a Dometic. I tried the furnace again and with the cover off I could not hear any snapping sounds. The gas cook stove burners and oven still operate normally. I will keep you all updated as I learn more.
