Unless I am not understanding your question properly the 50 Amp service to the 5th wheel and the 55 Amp output are not related at all. The 55 Amp output is for charging the 12V DC battery. The 50 Amp Incoming service is 120 V AC. So with data provided I don't see a problem at all.
