Most likely referring to a slider hitch, or lack of one caused the rear window of the tow vehicle to beak due to the corner of the 5th wheel impacting with the rear of truck cab.
A slider hitch will allow for sharp turns by sliding the pin backwards giving the nose of the 5th wheel trailer more room to turn. Posted in the 5th wheel forum, which gives it away.
