Sure. Send out invites, but state that it is a potluck house warming (they bring the food), they need to bring their own drinks and the times are from 4 - 8 pm or whatever. Make sure that they are aware that it will only sleep 2 COMFORTABLY even if it will actually sleep 12!!!
