I would rather see a vertical slide section on the roof to allow access to the bedroom using a fixed floor 6' above the garage. It could use the same construction as a hard side pop up just for the bedroom.
Did you notice the main living floor was elevated to the level of the pin box allowing for a large basement and flat living room floor? The heater and water heater are in the basement and only the garage floor is at the chassis level. I think this is what threw some people off and made them think it was a BP TH.
