So you have to remove the cargo if it's too tall to allow the room to drop down? That doesn't sound very well thought out.
Yes, you would have to move the cargo to drop the bed down. You would have to do the same in any toy hauler to lower the bottom bunk. Chances are that when you get to your destination, you will remove the cargo anyhow, right?
