I just thought of one more Montana fifthwheel question. Has keystone ever figured out how to keep the graphic decals, specifically the one on the front cap, from cracking and falling off, piece by piece? My 2004 Montana looked great except for the big Montana decal on the front cap that curled up and little pieces fell off.

I have a 2010 Montana and my decals still look good. I have not done anything extra to them except to wash the camper. It never has been covered and it is either in N. Carolina or Florida.

This has been a long, LONG lasting issue with Keystone products, not just Montanas, with decals over fiberglass. Don't know of any real solution, although I know Montana/Keystone will give you replacement decals when they get really bad. Still is costly or time consuming to replace them. Look on the Montana Owner's Club forum and you'll find tons of threads & posts about this.The only thing I've heard that is supposed to actually help is Aerospace 303 applied every three to six months, but I've never seen any factual evidence of this. It IS a really good protectant though.

Go over to the Montana Owners Club (MOC) forum and ask. There do not seem to be many problems with the newer unit's decals.Our 2007 was fine until last year and started peeling. Although others from similar years have had problems.

That is an old issue that was solved few years ago,i had a 2012 Montana and the graphics held up great and then I bought a 2015 Montana Legacy and the Graphics are even better they are Perforated with little holes so the Graphics can Breath and look fantastic

Best bet is don't buy a Keystone product.

At a time when some of the other brands are suffering badly from fade on the colored fiberglass caps, pealing graphics doesn't sound so bad anymore!

True..... The NEW caps worth anything are being automotive painted and clear coated... That should help with the fading ..... If buying new , ask for the procedures for front and rear caps....
Old school colored caps were color infused Gelcoat/fiberglass...thus the fade factor
