Payload for 2016 Ram 2500?? What am I missing??

Help?? I am in the process of upgrading my 2011 F250 gas 6.2L We are thinking of getting a 5er and I want to make sure my truck will haul it comfortably. I am basing my 5er weight on 13000-13500...

My son's 2012 CTD 3/4 iirc is 2240. He was looking at fw also and came to the conclusion that many 3/4 are over weight. My one ton is something like 3850 iirc.

My 2013 Silverado 1500 was 1650 lb
