Pulling a jayco Pinnacle from Los Angeles to Butte Mt

Drove from Vegas thru Butte to Kalispell a week ago. No road comstruction problems.

You lose an hour when you get to the AZ border. They give it back when you return, so it's not really stealing. :)

Drove from Rapid City SD to NW WA 1,200 miles in 23 hours recently. Not something I want to do again!

Towing at 60 VS 68 will make a huge difference in mpg. Mt combined load of 29K at 60-62 I will get 9-9.5 and at 68 it will easily drop to 8. A gasser with my load would get 4mpg.

By my math 1100 miles at an average of 50 MPH equals 22 hours of driving.

Tell her she's going to have to co-drive. No problems then.

Is there a rush?

Seems like a very reasonable trip. I go from north of Seattle to Anaheim a couple times a year towing a flat deck. 1,300 miles. Always make it in 2 days.
You should be able to leave the morning of the 7th and arrive on the 8th in the evening.
This still leaves time for a good nights sleep. You have a deadline. Not stopping at every good photo opportunity.
