Rear Awning/Canopy

I have a 2006 Fleetwood Gearbox and I would love to put the rear awning on. I do not have one but I have seen pictures of them. My husband and I would like to enclose the rear for nice days when we don't want to let the bugs in. I have the side panels that attach to one but I have not been able to find one for sale. I have searched Ebay and several RV accessories sites but all I find are the side awnings.

I circled it in red. I have this exact trailer pictured (this is a stock photo)

    Still available on Amazon:
  • Well I found a replacement canopy fabric piece. If anyone has exact dimensions for the scafolding (something like that isn't included in the directions it seems) I can fabricate that stuff easily.
  • You might want to contact Forest River. They make the 360 PDEK in both the Sierra and Sandpiper line and the rear deck on these units can be ordered with he patio enclosure. It might work for what you need. We did not order one for ours as we rarely have a bug issue at the lake. I believe it was a $1200 option.
  • Thank you everyone for your replies
Y-Guy you are awesome for giving me the brand name and all. Discontinued but I am hopeful.

    My search is renewed! ^.^
  • Those were made by Carefree, called the Outback Ramp Room or Awning. As you've found they've been discontinued. You might luck out and find one but they're not easy to fine. A dealer might be able to do a part search. Problem is you might have troubles getting replacement parts down the road.

You can also check out the Dometic 9540 Xtend A Room
  • There is a member here that has one that may find your post and help you out with that particular model. I don't think many loved that particular design. I have a Dometic Xtend A Room on the ramp of my race car hauler. Very happy with the design and easily adapted to my trailer. I can also tell you the FR has Lippert supplying the ramp door patios now (amongst just about everything else).
  • they might not have them on line as you have already been looking, But I bet you can call an RV dealer and they can find you one, even if they have to go to the manufacturer to get it.
