- SkiSmuggsExplorerIt actually responds more quickly, but you can turn it into a regular pin box simply by move the wedge to the lock position if it is like the Sidewinder.
Just be sure to check the bolts at the pivot point for proper torque every few thousand miles. - michigancougarExplorerthe point at the kingpin locks into position so it just moves the pivit point back for more clearance in turning - it shouldn't affect the backing part at all. I just researched and bought a pullrite autoglide and love it - might have gone with the demco which I liked the design of slightly better but it isn't well supported in my area and couldn't find even one to look at. the autoglide keeps the pivit point forward when towing and slides back on it's own on each turn. lots of happy revolution owners though I just wasn't sure making the pivit point back that far would be as strong down the road- we want to do a drive to alaska in a few years and are setting up for that.
good luck and happy camping - tegu69ExplorerI have the Revolution on my everlite and it sure makes it easier to maneuver. So it does affect backing (in a good way). When I back into my back yard, I back through a gate and then stop on a concrete pad. Much easier to line it up straight. Having said that, it is sometimes a pita to unhitch. I had the universal wedge and now have the one for my hitch. Its still giving me problems unhitching. I think I will start by having the torque on the pivot bolt checked as suggested above.
