Replacement Axles for 2004 Thor Jazz

Got my stupid sign today. Hit a concrete bridge abutment trying to miss another vehicle taking up to much room. Took out front wheel and spring on right side of 2004 Jazz 5th wheel. Got it home and repaired spring hangers, replaced spring, tire and wheel. Thought I had it fixed. Now I find the front axle is bent enough to run out about 10 degrees.
This coach has Dexter EZ Lube axles but I can't find size or weight rating on axle. Coach is a 30' with a 14' slide. Any suggestions or places to look for the info?
  • I have almost the same trailer. 2005 30 ft with 10400 gvwr. If I remember correctly it has 5200lb axles. Dexter has a really good web site for searching for stuff. If I didn't have 2ft of snow around my trailer I'd get you the serial number off mine. An axel shop may be able to straighten and re align the axle. Just a thought.
  • Called Dexter earlier. They said there should be a serial # somewhere on the axle. I will look again. With the serial # Dexter will be able to match a replacement.
    Thanks for the suggestions.
  • No tag/stampings on axle?

Do you have any data sheets inside cabinet doors/drawers?

Do you have any OEM material?

You can call Thor Industries (Thor of California mfg. Jazz...out of business but was a Thor Industries subsidiary)
Corportae doesn't list a contact phone number but Thor Motorcoach is in Elkhart (same as Corp). Might have phone number for records. Even though it's a 5th wheel (which you are calling a coach) Thor Motorcoach being in same town as Corp. should have contact number.
OR Airstream, Crossroads, Keystone, Dutchmen....any of them should be able to provide a contact for history/archives/info etc.

    You can call Dexter......and inquire
    8am-5pm EST (Monday-Friday)
    (574) 295-7888

Have VIN and weight of trailer handy when you call any of them

Dexter would be my first call.
