"ERS" - and "Emergency Roadside Assistance".
Search the archives also - been on here many times over many years!
Dig a bit deeper than the name!
ALL of the ERS plans have a parent "Motor Club".
ALL of the ERS plans contract to tow operators all over the country.
No matter which ERS you have - you may get the same tow operator for roadside assistance.
The "quality" of the response is entirely dependent on the contracting tow operator. It may be good, bad or ugly.
A lot depends on factors - rural/urban, weather, and other lucrative contracts (such as city/county/state *police* towing) - which may get higher priority.
Happy folks with:
Good Sam
Coach Net.
Check each for what is covered.
No so much (happy folks) with AAA.
Not all AAA (various states) have reciprocal agreements.
US Rider is my choice, with American Motorcyclist Association as a backup.
Either one will tow whatever your RV and/or tow vehicle is.
AMA ($45. yr) limits tow distance to 35 miles).
Both include your "normal" (daily driver) vehicles or a vehicle you are riding in/on.
You (the card holder) simply must "be there".
Check 'em out - and see what "fits" best for *YOU*..:W
