Roadside assistance suggestions?

I'd guess that GS and Coachnet are the two ERS used by most Rvers. We've had both, one year we had both at the same time since GS gave us a free year after we bought Coachnet. They are probably the same but the one time we needed it GS told us they could not provide service in that area. That was on an Interstate in Arkansas. But Coachnet had someone there in 30 minutes. One example doesn't prove much but we renewed Coachnet not GS.

AAA usually does not service towed RV's. I don't know if they do Class A and C.

For previous responses search this Forum for `roadside assistance' and read on and on....

We have XtraRide. Only needed it once so far, 930pm on a Sunday on a back road blacktop. They had someone there in 45 minutes and called back to make sure everything had been taken care of.

Even though AAA is a national organization the service rendered depends very much on which local club you belong to and which local club area you are in.
I have had good service with Good Sam for tire service. Never needed anything else.

Good Sams or Coachnet are probably the best for campers need's..Tow the Truck, tow the 5er, tow both...unlock's, bring fuel....for the money I think either of these two offer the biggest bang for one's buck...I've had both, I have Coachnet now.

Never heard of XtraRide, do they tow both the truck and the 5er? Any towing cost? How much is yearly cost for XtraRide? Looks like they call themselves an extended warranty service from what I can tell...

They do FAR more than just tire service if we're talking ERS. Towing could be needed with TV, 5er or both and they and Coachnet will do both...along with other services.

I have Good Sam Clib and and am very happy with it. I have used it 3 times, twice with my truck and 5th wheel in the USA and once with my car in Canada all with good service.

As a motorcyclist I carry AMA roadside asst. Covers bikes, cars, TV and TT. Have had good luck with there service.

I've had GS in the past. Just signed up with Coach Net.
