Rotate 5th wheel

So- I have an oldie but goodie 21' Coachmen 5th wheel. Love it. Here's my problem- I live on a busy road, with my driveway running down from the road. Dead-ends at the garage. There's not enough room to turn around. I would love to be able to drive down from the street, disconnect, hey presto, turn the beastie around ready to leave again. Short of a $20,000 turntable, I'm not sure how to do it, looking for ideas. I'm OK backing down the drive, except trying to catch a break in traffic to do it safely is close to impossible. I can't parallel park on the street , there's no lane. Am I out of luck, or is there some great idea out there? Thought of getting 2 pairs of those skateboard lifts, and some casters for the front legs, but...... Any ideas???

If you can make a fairly quick back-in to that driveway from the street, you'll need to arrange for a couple of traffic-stoppers to jump out (or be there when you get there) and hold the traffic for the 30 or 40 seconds it takes you to back off that road.

If only one person is available, stop short of the drive, have that person get out BEHIND you to stop that traffic while you move forward into the position to make your back-in. Then just wait for a break in the on-coming traffic big enough to start backing -- any new approachers are going to see you just fine while you complete it.

If you aren't take it out and back in a lot, this could be the best you'll have....

(((Ooops, didn't realize I was responding to an old topic. But I'll leave my response here anyway, I guess.....)))

I have a friends house I visit with the same issue. Luckily the neighbor allows me to turn around on his property. Otherwise I'd be out of luck

Do you have room for a short "T" to your driveway? 21' 5er should not require too much room to do a back in and pull out turn around.
