We're buying our second Jayco Eagle from RV Direct and so far, it's going nice and smooth. The first was a 2014 Jayco Eagle HT 27.5 BHS that we picked up in Des Moines. They had the unit ready to go and they conducted a thorough two-hour PDI demonstrating everything and answering all of my questions to my satisfaction. I even had them install a special capture plate on the Mor/RYDE pin box to be compatible with the PullRite SuperGlide hitch we had when we picked it up. Their usual policy is to charge a minimum of one hour labor but they only charged me for .25 hrs. Overall, I couldn't have been happier with the whole deal.
BTW, if you're trying to figure prices, you can get an online quote from RV Direct in minutes and they won't harass you later. It will list the MSRP as you're configuring (so take note) and within a few minutes, you'll get your quote via email. If nothing else, it gives you an excellent starting point for negotiating a deal locally.
Personally, I don't care at all for our local dealer having purchased my first TT from them so I avoid them like the plague. If warranty issues come up, I'll seek out a reputable dealer or request Jayco sent me the parts and I'll do my own repairs.
